Kerala House Boat Tour Package DAY 01: ARRIVAL COCHIN

Greeted by Hi-tours representative and driven to hotel at Cochin. Cochin – “Queen of the Arabian sea”. Cochin has a fascinating blend of cultures as varied as Dutch, Portuguese and English. Ancient churches, colonial structures, century old synagogues make Cochin a tourist spot offering a host tourist attractions. Cochin is ideal place to watch cultural shows such as ‘Kathakali’, Mohiniyattam and other art forms of Kerala. Cochin had influences of explorers and traders who visited this wealthy land. Kerala House Boat Tour Package DAY 02: COCHIN TO MUNNAR

Today morning you can go for an optional sightseeing tour to explore the many fascinating highlights of Cochin which include – The Jewish Synagogue in what is locally called the Jew Town, St. Francis Church which is the oldest European Church in India, the Santa Cruz Basilica built in 1557 by the Portuguese, the Dutch Palace, the spice market and the 15th century Chinese fishing nets believed to have been brought by Chinese traders.

Later drive to Munnar a hill station located 1600 meters above sea level. Once the summer resort of the erstwhile British administration in South India it still retains its colonial charm and is famous for its tea plantations, most of which are privately owned. With its sprawling estates, rolling hills, sparkling waterfalls, picture postcard hamlets and undulating valleys, Munnar is an ideal holiday destination. Check into your hotel and unwind. DAY 03: AT MUNNAR

Today enjoy a full day local visits in Munnar, visit the tea museum, take a short trip to the Eravikulam National Park (home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar mountain goat amongst others) or simply walk through the enchanting tea estates and enjoy the tranquility Mattupetty Dam . Drive around the Tea plantations, Munnar Town, Echo Point etc.

Kerala House Boat Tour Package DAY 04: MUNNAR TO ALLEPPEY

Drive to Alleppey to embark on your private houseboat. Your houseboats or ‘Kettuvalloms’ are well appointed bedrooms and ensuite bathrooms. For this special occasion we will deck the room with flowers. You can sunbathe on the deck or observe the palm fringed landscape from your cabins. Apart from the mesmerizing surroundings it’s the life along the coast that makes this a fascinating experience. The locals travel in canoes and you will find vegetable sellers, fishermen and other traders bringing household goods, door to door in small wooden boats. As you cruise along the backwaters you can ask your captain to stop at villages, paddy fields and other places enroute. In the evening, enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner with champagne. Kerala House Boat Tour Package DAY 05: ALLEPPEY TO KOVALAM

After special breakfast on the board, you will check out from the House Boat and your honeymoon journey brings you to the next destination Kovalam – on the coast of the Arabian Sea. In Kovalam you will have leisure on the beach. Here you can do activities like swimming, sunbathing, and walking on sandy beaches. Apart from the leisure on beach you can also visit Kovalam Harbor where you will see more than hundred of small fishing boats. Later on you can visit the Fish Market and Fish Aquarium.

You can enjoy the candle light dinner at the hotel. (Overnight in Kovalam)
